Bites of Bulgaria. A journey through culture, music and education.

From 17 to 21 November, the European Paganini Route was the protagonist in Bulgaria, participating in a series of events rich in culture, music and international exchanges. Sofia hosted intense days that highlighted the strong ties between Italy and Bulgaria, through activities that celebrated the collaboration and dialogue between the two countries.

The activities included an interview with the Bulgarian National Television (БНТ), featuring Mario Hossen, world-renowned violinist, Michele Trenti, Manager of the European Paganini Route, and Danilo Prefumo, musicologist and member of the EPR Scientific Committee.

This was followed by another interview with Danilo Prefumo on Bulgarian National Radio, focusing on the figure of Paganini and his impact on European music.

One of the most significant moments was the meeting with the Italian Ambassador in Sofia, Giuseppina Zarra at the embassy, which offered a unique opportunity to emphasise the importance of music as a bridge between cultures.

Finally, Danilo Prefumo gave a special lecture at the New University of Sofia, aimed at students and music enthusiasts, to explore the figure of Paganini and his lasting artistic legacy.
